Plexus has developed intelligent middleware software ("Altitude") which delivers the systems integration platform to enable customers to obtain real time energy management
of their commercial and industrial premises. Altitude is able to connect to almost any meter, device or system that populates a typical premises. Altitude achieves this
by exposing the various proprietary hardware controls platforms (for which
Plexus has written software drivers), which can then be easily integrated with third party applications or those developed by Plexus such as our
suite of energy data analysis applications.
Altitude is therefore also used as the Graphical User Interface by large
property owners and management groups who want one web-based user interface for
the management of the disparate control networks which exist within property
portfolios.
Being
a web-based solution, Altitude also has the benefit of enabling these
customers to get greater functionality from, and control of, their legacy
control systems, thereby reducing energy costs and meeting Carbon Reduction
Commitment targets, extending the asset’s life and reducing business
risk. This also makes Altitude an ideal platform from which to deliver an
integrated, scalable, solution for an energy management and environmental
control bureau service.
